Engagement Model - Dedicated Team

Dedicated Team

A dedicated Impulsebyte specialist embedded in your team - developer, designer, ads manager, or social media manager. They work in your Jira, your Slack, your GitHub. They attend your standups. They know your codebase. You get 100% of one person's focus, not 20% of five.

Why Dedicated

The problems with every other engagement model.

Project-based and time-and-material models work for defined scopes. For ongoing development, maintenance, and growth - they create more problems than they solve.

A new face on every project

You have worked with agencies where someone pitches the account, a senior reviews the scope, and a junior you have never met does the work. You never know who is actually building your platform.

Fractured attention across 5 other clients

Your developer is context-switching between your project and four others. Every switch costs 20 minutes of ramp-up time. Your platform gets 20% of someone's attention, not 100%.

No sprint cadence or delivery rhythm

Project-based engagement means flurries of activity followed by weeks of silence. You never know what is happening unless you chase. There is no weekly rhythm, no standup, no velocity.

Communication overhead kills momentum

Brief the PM. PM briefs the tech lead. Tech lead briefs the dev. By the time your requirement reaches the person building it, it has been interpreted twice and is 40% different.

Ramp-up cost on every new project

Each time you bring in a new agency or freelancer, you spend 2–4 weeks getting them up to speed. A dedicated team already knows your codebase, your preferences, and your clients.

No accountability between milestones

Fixed-price contracts incentivise minimum viable delivery, not ongoing quality. A dedicated team is accountable week-on-week - their continued engagement depends on consistent output.

Six Roles Available

Build Your Team
How is this different from hiring a freelancer?
Three differences: accountability, oversight, and team backup. A freelancer has no accountability structure above them. Our dedicated team members are managed by the founder, have a weekly performance check-in, and have team backup if they are unavailable. You also get one invoice, not a contractor arrangement.
How quickly can a team member start?
5 business days from the intro call to first standup, assuming access is provided promptly. We do not bill for the onboarding period. Your first invoice starts from the first full week of active work.
Can we have more than one person?
Yes. The most common combination is a developer + an ads manager, or a developer + a designer. Each person is a separate monthly retainer. We can also structure a small team (developer + QA + designer) at a combined rate.
What if the team member is not a good fit?
Tell us within the first 30 days and we will replace them at no additional cost. After 30 days, the standard 30-day notice applies. We would rather replace than lose the engagement.
Do we own all the code and creative produced?
Yes. Every line of code, every Figma file, every ad creative is yours. IP assignment is standard in the engagement agreement. We do not retain any rights to work produced during the engagement.
What is the minimum commitment?
3 months. This is the minimum for a dedicated team engagement to be meaningful - enough time to get into the codebase, build a rhythm, and deliver measurable output. After 3 months, continue month-to-month with 30 days notice to exit.
