eCommerce SEO
SEO built specifically for eCommerce - collection page optimisation, product schema markup, technical SEO fixes, internal linking architecture, and content that ranks and converts. For Shopify and WooCommerce stores that want organic traffic to pull its weight alongside paid ads.
Six reasons your Shopify or WooCommerce store is not ranking.
Generic SEO advice written for blogs and service sites does not work for eCommerce. Stores have unique challenges - duplicate content at scale, pagination, thin category pages, and product URLs that change with variants.
Shopify and WooCommerce generate multiple URLs for the same product - via collections, tags, and search filters. Without canonical tags and proper URL handling, Google sees hundreds of near-identical pages and ranks none of them well.
A collection page titled "Kurta Sets" with 40 products and zero text has nothing for Google to understand or rank. Category pages need a targeted keyword, introductory content, and structured headings - yet most stores leave them empty.
"Blue Floral Kurta Set" ranks for nothing. "Cotton Floral Kurta Set for Women - A-line, Block Print, Sizes XS–3XL" ranks for six buying-intent queries. Product titles and meta descriptions need the keyword research that most store owners skip.
Without structured data markup (Product schema with offers, reviews, availability), your listing in Google is just a blue link. Competitors with rich snippets showing star ratings and price ranges pull more clicks from the same ranking position.
Authority flows through internal links. A store with 500 products but no internal linking structure means every product page starts with zero authority. Breadcrumbs, related products, and collection cross-links are the internal SEO levers most stores never configure.
Google uses Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) as a ranking signal. Shopify stores loading hero images at full resolution, or WooCommerce sites with 30 plugins all loading scripts on every page, routinely fail the mobile CWV thresholds that affect their rankings.
Six eCommerce SEO capabilities we deliver.
Technical SEO and content SEO together - neither works well without the other. We fix the foundation first, then build on it.
Collection & Category Page SEO
The highest-value SEO pages in any eCommerce store - one collection page targeting "cotton kurta sets" can outrank dozens of individual product pages. We research buying-intent keywords, write category descriptions, optimise H1 and meta tags, fix pagination handling, and configure canonical tags for faceted navigation.
Product Schema & Rich Results
Structured data implementation for all product pages - Product schema with offers (price, availability, currency), AggregateRating (review stars), and BreadcrumbList. Implemented in Shopify Liquid or WooCommerce theme. Validated in Google Rich Results Test and monitored in GSC for coverage and errors.
Technical SEO Audit & Fixes
Crawl audit (Screaming Frog or Ahrefs), canonical tag configuration, robots.txt and sitemap review, 301 redirect audit, duplicate URL resolution, hreflang if multi-region, Core Web Vitals fix for LCP and CLS, and mobile-first indexing readiness check. Platform-specific: Shopify URL structure, WooCommerce category/tag duplication.
Product Title & Description Optimisation
Keyword research for all top-selling products - buying-intent terms with search volume and competition data. Product titles rewritten for both ranking and click-through. Meta descriptions written to drive CTR. Description content expanded with specification details, use case context, and FAQ sections where appropriate.
Internal Linking Architecture
Breadcrumb schema for all products and collections, related product cross-links, collection cross-linking in footer and navigation, blog-to-category links from informational content, and anchor text optimisation. Crawl depth analysis to ensure all products are reachable within 3 clicks from the homepage.
SEO Content & Blog Strategy
Informational content that feeds buying-intent pages - "how to style a kurta set for a wedding" linking to the relevant collection. Keyword clustering into a content calendar. Blog posts written with topical authority intent, not just traffic. Existing thin content expanded or consolidated to improve crawl efficiency.
Ecommerce SEO work we have done for real stores.
Specific changes made, specific platforms, specific results. Not "we improved organic traffic" - what we built and what changed.
What these SEO implementations delivered.
SEO takes time - 3–6 months for meaningful organic traffic growth. These results are from sustained implementation, not overnight tricks.
The custom inc/seo.php module gave Nayi Nazar full control over all SEO metadata without a plugin dependency. Product schema with star ratings was implemented and validated in the Rich Results Test, with coverage and errors monitored in Search Console. Category pages were restructured around mid-competition ethnic wear keywords.
The platform migration from WooCommerce to Shopify carried inherent SEO risk - different URL structures, different canonical behaviour. Complete 301 redirect map and post-migration GSC monitoring meant zero ranking loss. Collection pages rewritten for ethnic wholesale keywords drove B2B enquiry traffic.
LocalBusiness and TouristAttraction schema helped Soul Vacation appear in Google's local pack for Ayurvedic retreat queries. FAQ schema on treatment pages generated rich results that expanded the listing in SERP - increasing CTR without any change in ranking position.
Exactly what was implemented on each project.
| Client | Platform | SEO work | Schema types | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nayi Nazar | WooCommerce | Custom seo.php, URL rewrites, meta, category content | Product, Breadcrumb, Org, FAQ | Rich snippets live in GSC |
| Keeyara Wholesale | Shopify | 301 map, sitemap, canonical fix, collection rewrites | Product, BreadcrumbList | Zero GSC errors post-launch |
| Soul Vacation | WordPress | SEO module, 6 CPT sitemaps, OG/Twitter meta | LocalBusiness, Tourist, FAQ, Service | FAQ rich results, local pack |

What we check before recommending anything.
For new enquiries we provide a summary technical and content SEO audit at no cost - you know what is broken before you pay for anything.
Technical first. Then content. Then authority.
Crawl the store, fix duplicate content, canonical tags, sitemap, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals. Nothing on top of a broken foundation. Technical SEO is billed as a one-time fix or included in the retainer.
Buying-intent keywords for every collection page and top-50 products. Ranked by search volume, competition, and commercial intent. Collection pages first - they have more ranking potential than individual product pages.
Collection page descriptions, product meta titles, schema markup, internal links, breadcrumbs - all implemented directly in Shopify Liquid or WooCommerce theme. No SEO plugin lock-in on custom builds.
Monthly GSC report - impressions, clicks, ranking positions for target keywords, index coverage. New opportunities flagged. Content gaps identified and added to the backlog. SEO is not a one-time project - it compounds over months.
One-time foundation or ongoing monthly SEO.
SEO compounds over time - the longer the retainer, the more the organic channel contributes and the lower your effective cost per click becomes.
